AN ALBUM EXPLORING NOSTALGIC YOUTH (FORTHCOMING MAY 17th)
As a kid anything was possible. The world was one great big playground meant for exploration and creative imagination. Every moment carried within it the possibility of fun. Every experience, be it with toys, bikes, sports, cartoons, the great outdoors was all fair game. There was nothing that the youthful imagination and creative lens through which we saw the world with younger eyes couldn’t make into a magical, transformative and memorable adventure. Through the arc of this album, each track aims to bring back to life the nostalgic memory of what it felt like to be a kid. To be alive in a younger world with our whole lives ahead of us and the fullness of childlike joy, the spirit of adventure and all the awe and wonder fully alive within us. Playful tracks give way to more reflective tracks over the course of the album as if our younger selves have eventually grown up, leaving our adult selves reflecting upon the memory of earlier days. The album takes the listener through a series of “sonic memories” bringing us back in touch with the kid inside us all.
LP 1: THE DEBUT ALBUM “VISTAS”
AN ALBUM EXPLORING SONIC LANDSCAPES
“Vistas” is a collection of evolving sonic textures ranging from electronic grooves to ambiences to score-like arcs. Created to conjure up a variety of transportive atmospheres, each designed to be a relatable sonic “place” for the listener through the use of both sonic design and music. The main aim was to explore creativity freely, allowing both music and sound to go where unexpected and provide an enjoyable, unique sonic journey for the listener encouraging their imagination to run wild in the exploration of each “vista.”
